KT Launches Tablet to Rival iPad


South Korean tablet lovers are getting a treat today thanks to local company KT. KT has just annouced it will be releasing a tablet called “Identity” for customers in South Korea. The tablet will features Google Android OS as well a 7-inch multi-touch display. The tablet in photographs provided make the device look like and iPad clone. Buyer’s will be pleased to find that it pretty much is in the way of looks and how some of the menus are designed.

The 7-inch KT Identity will come in two different models, the base model features Wi-Fi connectivity but it is also available with an optional Wi-bro 4G data card. The Identity will cost at it’s base price the equivalent to $252 in South Korea, the price is for the device only getting service for the Identity from a local data provider will be extra.
